We serve folk from all walks of life, both adventurers and commoners alike, and wish to maintain an atmosphere of peace and rest for all within our establishment. Be kind to the moogles. We understand they grate on the nerves of many, however we have struck an accord with those who work here and would hope that you respect them as you would any regular employee. They are kind little furballs who simply wish to help. [No talks of moogle/pet abuse, please.]

While the downstairs is not closed off to guests, this area is the personal living quarters of the owners. You are welcome to explore! We would simply ask that you refrain from doing so until after hours, or at least until after your meal is finished if the curiosity is simply too much.

If ever you cannot afford the coin to pay for your meal, let it be of no worry in your mind. We are for people first and for business far, far second. Communities take care of their own; we've got you covered. All we ask is that you pay the kindness forward someday to someone else who may need it. [While you will receive real food items, we will not ask you for gil in exchange, and there is no expectation of a tip to compensate. ♡]

Magic's Horizon was founded in January of 2023, or rather.... the bones of it was. This little plot of land right down the road from our childhood home at Molkoh Bakery had been abandoned and forgotten for many years, from as far back as when we were kids. We share many fond memories of playing together among the echoes of where a home once stood and feeling a strange sort of comfort and belonging within it. Decades later, we now know why. Maybe it was calling to us, even back then, for as soon as we began our search for a place to call our own, we both instantly knew where we wanted to establish our refuge.Work began as soon as we were handed the keys, and was it ever work! Neither of us knew a thing about owning a home, much less basically rebuilding one. We are incredibly fortunate to have people in our lives with a wide variety of knowledge and skills who we can lean on, and lean on them we did. It took a solid couple of months of sweat, grit, determination, and laughter, and at the end of it all stands an abode that is a testament to the beautiful hearts of those who have always made our lives warm and safe.And so now, for you, we hope to offer the same.
The philosophy of Magic's Horizon is simple: our doors remain open to any and all. To wayward souls, to broken hearts. To those who life has scorned and turned its back on simply because of who they are. To those who are tired, not just in their bones, but in the core of their being. To those who just need a moment of reprieve from the weight of it all.To all of those and more, we see you. We get it. We know. And we are here.Let this be a retreat from what plagues you, even if only for a little while. Smile, laugh, relax. Fill your bellies with good food and your hearts with good company. While we can't take your worries away, we can hopefully help lessen the load and give you a safe space to decompress. Tis not a rare sight for the shop to filled with love and laughter of even more familiar faces; from friends they'd made as kids to the people they've met along the way, friends and family are always visiting the shop and Magic's Horizon's healing warmth is owed to them just as much as Kel and Nova.

Flaky-crusted, packed with fruit, and baked beautifully golden. The perfect remedy for any sweet tooth! Our current range includes:

Rich and decadent. Made with fresh soft cream cheese, sugar, and eggs, a spiced graham crust, and topped with the sweetest rolanberries from our favourite Sapphire Avenue fruits vendor.
Crème Brûlée
A delicate custard infused with fair sourced vanilla beans, cloaked in hardened caramelized sugar and fire-blasted personally by the resident black mage.

Shakshouka
✧ An absolutely delectable dish of savoury eggs poached in a hearty and rich base of ripe tomatoes, loaded with a variety of sweet peppers and onions. Seasoned with potent warm spices and garnished with mint. Served with naan. Can be made mild or spicy!
Eggs Benny
✧ A perfectly poached egg dressed in a creamy hand-whipped hollandaise sitting atop a bed of slow-rendered crispy pancetta and thick cut toast.
Papa's Breakfast
✧ Loaded with chunks of extra hardy desert root veg and fluffly scrambled hen's eggs, this filling spread is sure to see one through even the most grueling of days. Served with a bacon braid.
Desert Popoto Pancakes
Light and fluffy despite the starch, desert popotoes shine when mashed and whipped with eggs to create a sizeable stack of these tasty pancakes. Topped with a pad of butter as well as your choice of maple, rolanberry, or palm syrup.
Shepherd's Pie
Shredded meats and an array of robust colourful veggies fill a buttery pie crust, tucked away beneath a cover of golden baked mashed popotoes and served piping hot. The perfect comfort for when the rainy season sets in!
Spinach Quiche

Locally grown coffee beans ground to perfection mixed with an equal amount of aldgoat, buffalo, and ovibos milk. Sweet and creamy, ask for it 'whipped' for a dessert-like mousse!

A fusion of rich dark and sweet milk chocolates, swirled with cream and topped with a fluffy vanilla whip.
Thavnairian Chai
✧ Premium spices sourced from Radz-at-Han blended with warm aromatics and brewed with milk to create this beautiful and comforting cup.
Ul 'dahn Mulled Tea
✧ Beloved across the city for generations, from the streets to the sultanate, all of the most common and favoured desert spices, rose petals, and citrus peels marry into the most quintessential Ul'dahn elixir there is.
Spiced Cider
Fresh apple juice, toasted cinnamon, whole cloves, and brown sugar are simmered together over a low flame for an extended time, creating the perfect beverage that warms from the inside out.
